Agricultural Steel Buildings & Hay Barns for Farms and Ranches
Built for the Way You Work
What Are You Building?
Hay Barns and Hay Sheds
Help protect hay from wind and wet weather with open-front, partly enclosed, or fully enclosed layouts.
Equipment and Implement Storage
Room for tractors, balers, and implements, with lean-tos you can add later.
Livestock Barns and Shelters
Barns and shelters planned around your animals, your site, and how you use the space.
Ranch and Farm Shops
Machine shops, work bays, and general farm and ranch storage.
Agricultural Steel Buildings in the Field

Built for Heavy Snow Country
Engineered for Snow Loads
Your building is designed for the snow load your local building department requires.
Upgrading Older Pole Barns
Heavy snow is hard on older pole barns. Replace or upgrade with a steel frame engineered for your site.
Durable Steel Framing
Steel does not rot, and rigid framing gives clear-span strength for stacking, equipment, and animals.
Easy to Expand
Add bays or lean-tos later, or plan for future add-ons from the start.
Snow-load requirements vary by location and are set by your local building department. Tell us your site and we will design to it.

Agricultural Steel Building Questions
What size hay barn do I need?
It depends on your bale type, how high you stack, and the room you need for your loader. Large round bales, large square bales, and small square bales each need different space. Tell us your bale size and how much hay you store, and we will size the building to fit.
Can a hay barn be open on the sides?
Yes. A hay barn can have an open front, partial sidewalls, or full sidewalls. The right layout depends on your site, weather exposure, and how you load and unload.
Can I store feed against the wall?
Yes, with the right design. A stemwall, commonly 4 to 8 feet high, lets you store feed against the wall line. Tell us what you will store so the wall is designed for it.
Are your buildings designed for heavy snow?
Your building is engineered for the snow loads required at your site, including the heavy loads common in mountain valleys like Star Valley. Requirements are set by your local building department.
Can I replace an old pole barn with a steel building?
Yes. Many owners replace or upgrade older pole barns with steel buildings engineered for their site. Tell us the size and use and we will plan the replacement.
Can I build it myself?
Many ranchers and farmers assemble their own buildings. Your building package arrives with the parts and components cut and sized for assembly, or you can hire a contractor.
Can I add on or add lean-tos later?
Yes. Steel buildings can often be designed so bays or lean-tos can be added later. Let us know your plans so the design allows for it.
Can a steel building be used for grain, crop, or produce storage?
Steel buildings can provide the structural shell for crop, equipment, and produce storage. Grain and cold storage need specialized design for ventilation, insulation, moisture control, floors, and loads, so tell us how the building will be used and we will plan the shell around it. Bulk grain stored directly against walls requires specialized engineering that is not part of a standard building package.
How long does it take to get an agricultural steel building?
Our current turnaround is 8 to 10 weeks. Timelines can vary with project size, options, and demand.
